I'm sure this place is great for locals, or people those who speak Italian, but my family had an awful experience there tonight - perhaps mostly due to the language barrier. We're big seafood fans, squid in particular, but tonight all we could manage to attain we're two very overcooked grilled squid served with nothing but a drizzle of olive oil and a segment of lemon, and after a very long wait too, I might add. We didn't even bother waiting (even longer) for my mixed fish skewer. Italians all around us looked like they had multiple plates of really well prepared, varied and colourful dishes. While all we had was a sad overcooked squid, served alone.
After little more than a bite or two I went to settle the bill (insisting on paying in full with no discount for courses unserved, and beers barely touched) The staff protested that my complaint that the squid had the texture of a shoe was unfair because the squid was grilled and not fried "as I was used to". Well, thanks for psychically trying to read my life history somehow , because I love squid prepared in just about every way possible, and this piece had more in common with Addidas than Poseidon ;)
Also, it terms of value for money: 2 plates of plain chips, 2 overdone squid, a small plate of sliced vegetables, 2 beers , a Coke zero and a fanta was €67? Much much better value to be had elsewhere in this town.
Tourists - as I say - stay well away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are cheating. We payed by card and they charged 10 EUR more then the bill was. Unfortunately we recognized only on the bank account. A day before they measured 0.57 kilo and count 0.75 kilo. Not so much, but not polite. The food was enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice for fish eaters once you work out the system, buy fish, drinks etc, they then serve the food cooked. The menu didn't make this clear or the staff. I had Vongole (very good) my wife had Meat Balls (terrible) deep fried and dry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. Went off season, when the town feels half asleep. Ordered a mix of fried seafood and fish for two people. I think it was about 17€. We took it to go and ate it on our terrace. It looks like they have a big selection of fresh/live seafood, fish and wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish they would price their fruits and many other items. Hard to know the cost of things. Some items were delicious (peaches/watermelon), yet some were in very sad state (lettuce).
A small cup of yogurt was 1.50 € -very expensive.
The refrigerated oriechette was delicious. The red wine was wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply incredible food. Go up to the counter, pick your seafood. They will weigh it and cook it how you want. Best spaghetti Al Vongole we have had after 1 month in Italy and very well priced. Highly recommend for seafood.
