★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know there are lots of gift shops in places like this, many selling the same old tourist stuff, but I thought this little shop was excellent. Half dedicated to alabaster goods - Volterra is known for such products - and the other half was wooden goods. The quality of the wooden items was really good, including kitchen items (chopping boards, bowls, spoon plates, etc.). I bought some lovely little spoons for sugar and coffee pots, but was mesmerised by the range of wooden products available. I was great to have a nose around the shop. Recommended.
