★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious!! So hard to pick because everything looks so good. Luckily they have minis of almost everything so you can get a big selection. Our faves were the tiramisu and coffee cream puff! They will also make you a little plate to go and wrap it nicely.

-they have a crazy wide selection of pastries but they will run out of some items by the afternoon, go early to avoid disappointment
-stand there for food like a local!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden little gem that I stumbled upon. What caught my eye from the window were the chocolate covered cream puffs. I was assisted immediately with a smile and a very friendly lady who when asked what she recommended, gave me an extra custard almond filled pastry on the house. My total was ONLY 4,20Euro. I Definitely recommend adding Tonolo to your list of "must try" while in Venice, you won't be disappointed.

On Sunday, the line was a block long. So I came back Tuesday morning when they opened at 7:30am. But they told me the frittelle wouldn't be ready until 9am.
Just a heads-up for future travelers who want to go when the doors open to beat the crowds... Perhaps show up a few minutes before 9 and sip on a coffee until the frittelle are ready.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the places that I missed as soon as we came back from our trip. Not only the best in Venice but in Italy.
They have an amazing varieties of pastries and delicious coffees that they serve in their unique cups. Their fresh biscuits are also delicious. I wish we had a café like Tonolo in Toronto.
