Cornetti were okay but not the best in Perugia and the filled ones had too much filling. Cappuccino was very expensive and the flavour and strength were not as good as other cafΓ©s in the area

Beware! You may order something inside, but as soon as you decide to sit outside, prices rise improportionally. Cappuccino S 1.5 -> 3.9. Antica Perugia 3.5 -> 4.5. You discover this when you get the bill (which, by the way, you need to go inside to pay if you're using credit card). Yet they purposely mention that Service is 0 eur. They just forgot to say they bumped all prices irrationaly (it is nowhere near 10-15%..). What kind of sevice is it, if you order inside, not allowed to take stuff outside and then need to go inside to pay? That is without mentioning that all items are really expensive if you eat outside. I suggest to eat inside or to avoid at all. Nothing special in my humble opinion.

Like some other reviewers we found the pastries to be hit and miss. The one like a profiterole was delicious. It had a superb custard on the inside and a really light crunchy pastry exterior. The other, a berry tart with a chocolate base and custard filling was really really disappointing. The base was way too thick and the custard was over baked and dry. To me this was an indication poor quality rather than our personal preference. The waitress asked if it was alright when she saw we hadn't eaten it and I explained we hadn't felt it was really up to standard. Then instead of a. Following up on the complaint or b, asking if we wanted to order anything else (which we would have), she asked us if we wanted the bill then stood next to us until we put our card down - this felt really weird and was very different to any other "bill" experience we had had in Perugia.

Unfortunately, this shop was wonderful when it was run by the previous owners. Now it is run by Ferretti. Hot chocolate was disgusting. Pastries have all the same flavor (only shapes change) and a cappuccino may cost up to 3.50 euros wrt 1.20 everywhere else. Ok it is a maxi, but come on, just for a bit of milk, should I pay 3 times the price? Service outside is slow and not efficient at all.

We ordered two espresso macchiato's and one pastry and one tiramisu. Total= 14 euros. The desserts weren't even tasty! It was very disappointing considering how much we paid. Definitely would not recommend. Also, the staff was not very friendly and kind of rude. I'd suggest going somewhere else off the main tourist street.

Good coffee and the croissants were okay. But the price difference from ordering at the bar to sitting outside is way off. Small cap at the bar 1.80€ outside 3.90€. Same coffee no better or bigger or anything else except a table outside. This was for every item ordered. Which made this a very expensive short stop for the family of 7.

Exquisite place. Best tiramisu I've eaten in Italy. Really nice and beautiful place. Open at late night, great for after-dinner dessert

We dove into the treasures of the pastry case for breakfast offerings on two occasions during our Perugia stay in early March, 2022 and were delighted with our choices. The staff were friendly and helpful in helping with our selections, and the interior of the shop is worthy of a fashion shoot.
