★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As we experienced, here is the best gelato in Catania. It was 2,20€ for two taste, and the portion is the usual italian portion (so large).
Well it's quite far from the city centre but it worth to get there and have an ice-cream. I recomend to have a walk along the coast line as well.
Besides the gelato it is also a restaurant (or something like that). People were sitting there and having their dinner. We didn't tryed it so the 5* is just for the gelato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Randomly found this dessert shop. Long wait but friendly and helpful staff. The dessert is amazing!!! Bought some on the way to the airport. Would definitely come back. It’s way better than the highly rated SAVIA (so unfriendly)!!
