It gets five stars for the service, all the Napels specialties and the ambiance. Their sfogliatella is perfect. It tastes great and thinking that you are eating a pastry created in the 17th century in a Salerno monastery is quite exotic. I learned that sfogliatella means small, thin leaf/layer as the pastry's texture resembles stacked leaves. Not all pastry places also offer aperetivo, here they do. Their appetizers are mainly pastry based. I loved the small whole meal croissant with salmon. I hope this place stays open long time. Michele (reads Mikele) is a very smart and fun guy. I did not ask the name of the young girl who served me. She tried to speak English and was very patient and helpful with my endless questions about the contents of the pasticciottos. It would be good if they made a list in English to give to a person like me who can read the contents of various pastries rather than asking for each one. I guess that they would not want to put on the English explanation on the glass counter, it, kind of does not fit to the aesthetic of the place. I write reviews mainly for places that are worth spending my time on writing. That is why my ratings look high. I do not bother for every place.

Great place! Looked really fancy so I expected it to be expensive but it wasn't. Prices were good, coffee was good pastries were good and there were plenty on offer. Service was very helpful and even offered to make us a table outside in the shade since it was hot. I would be more than happy to go back for breakfast again!

This bakery is adorable! Looks expensive but is actually very reasonably priced. Our family loved the chocolate pastry, the cream puffs and many other assortments of pastries. It had a pretty good selection of sweets ranging from cookies, cream puff, meringues to little sandwiches. This bakery/cafe is perfect for a snack and the prices are affordable. The servers are also very polite and even spoke English. Very pleased with this find.

Great coffee and croissants with pistachio cream, but nothing more. The service was completely chaotic. You don’t feel welcome there. Too long to wait for the order and the toilet was broken. It’s unbelievable that there are 6-7 people and only 1 was able to speak English. Really weak.

3/5 A nice coffee spot for a morning coffee weekend or whenever you want to. Coffee and sweets are pretty good. Have been there a lot of times and always felt good sipping coffee with that amazing view. Lets come to the downside, it is not my nature to name shame and I wont but the service needs an upgrade here. A praise for the senior waiter with the reading glasses always with a smile and on point with the service. The younger generations (the girl) is not in the mood to serve clients nor well mannered (you will find out if you get the chance, I hope you don’t *record time for the order was  40 minutes and she pretends not to hear you in a 1 meter distance if you ask her for anything).Other then that don’t miss out on this spot, compared to most places this is not overcrowded and not overpriced due to being just outside of the center of the ancient city wall( that’s my thought at least) .
