Al palato si capiva che venivano utilizzate materie prime di buona qualità. Ottime le creme. For several days I bought mignon sweets that were always fresh and of excellent quality. Invogliati decidiamo di prendere due cornetti per la colazione, 10 cartellate (dolce tipico), paste di mandorla e due pacchi di taralli dolci. Il risultato è stato un vero flop: nell'impasto del mio cornetto ho trovato ben due ciglia, i taralli sia glassati che al vino risultano secchissimi e immangiabili, pasta di mandorle anche lei secchissima (il dubbio è che avesse visto con il binocolo la farina di mandorle). Unica nota positiva (per cui assegno due stelle) sono le cartellate. Peccato! We enter this pastry shop after seeing many people come out with bags and trays. Noi abbiamo scelto di assaggiare le carrellata ben curate e costruite con delicatezza. Poi i pasticciotti con pasta frolla delicata, crema e amarena. A fine vi consiglio il dolce della casa i cui ingredienti sono una sorpresa ma assaggiando si percepisce una dolce e friabile meringa, lamelle di mandorla, amaretti e crema: sembrano compatti e pesanti ed invece sono friabili. Mi hanno aiutato a fare una sorpresa “a distanza” a una ragazza che era a Vieste in vacanza, consegnandole da parte mia (che sono in Umbria) un dolce direttamente nel villaggio in cui soggiornava. Dopo aver contattato 4 pasticcerie della zona ricevendo risposte negative o evidenti scuse, questa pasticceria ha accolto la mia richiesta con assoluta disponibilità e professionalità, nonostante fosse un ordine davvero piccolo. Questi dettagli fanno proprio la differenza e valorizzano un intero territorio. Allego una foto della torta che, oltre ad essere molto bella, mi dicono fosse anche buona da morire! After contacting 4 pastry shops in the area and receiving negative responses or obvious apologies, this pastry shop accepted my request with absolute availability and professionalism, even though it was a very small order.
