But they have great sandwiches, one of the best breakfast and quick lunch in Florence
They serve lunch as well just few tables, and their specialty is seafood

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giorgio is of the best and most famous pastry shop and bakery in Florence. Unfortunately, is often very crowded. If staying in line for ordering and paying doesn't scare you, here will get the best cakes in Florence.
There's not really much choice of cakes actually, and that's the beauty of this place: it's typical and offers only its specialities.
Ask for a "Schiacciata with cream", it's the very best you can have. (the large one is for 10 people, but bear in mind everyone will eat more than one slice, guaranteed)
You can also order sandwiches or lunch dishes but I don't think there's enough room and quiet to enjoy them.
Come early, have your great cake seating outside or enjoy it at home with friends and family.

I came to Florence for the second time just to visit this place. It’s outside the city, but it’s worth the time to get there.
