★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Storico caffè triestino (a suo tempo era frequentato nientemeno che da James Joyce) situato in Largo Barriera, ora di proprietà Viezzoli.
Ottimi caffè, cappucci, brioches e krapfen fatti da loro.
Hanno mantenuto gli arredi d'epoca ed anche la pasticceria mignon per la quale era sempre noto.
Sicuramente merita fermarsi per una colazione di qualità.
Personale sempre gentilissimo, prezzi nella media della città.
 Historic Trieste café (once frequented by none other than James Joyce) located in Largo Barriera, now owned by Viezzoli.
Excellent coffees, cappucci, croissants and donuts made by them.
They have kept the period furnishings and also the mignon pastry for which he was always known.
Definitely worth stopping by for a quality breakfast.
Staff always very kind, prices in the city average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasticceria storica di Trieste molto bella internamente e con personale gentile, ma credo che sia più corretto mettere il prezzo ben esposto quando paghi un pastina 2.5 euro. Alla fine tutto buono ma con un costo più alto della media la location forse non vale questi prezzi.
Historic Trieste pastry shop very nice internally and with kind staff, but I think it is more correct to put the price well displayed when you pay a 2.5 euro pastry. In the end, all good but with a higher than average cost, the location may not be worth these prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasticceria ben posizionata in zona abbastanza centrale di estrema qualità. Adoro tutto ciò che hanno, ma devo dire che la torta al limone e caramello salato è spettacolare. Ci sono stato diverse volte e la ragazza bruna che frequenta è super professionale ed energica nonostante debba coprirsi dentro e fuori i locali. Menzione speciale anche alla presentazione dei dolci. Un successo totale e un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.Apprezzati anche l'arredamento e il fatto che hanno mantenuto il posto come una volta, esteticamente è bellissimo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a period in which the place was closed, the new owner re-opened this ancient pastry shop that serves also coffees. The illy coffee is good and in line with prices in the city centre of Trieste. There is some variety of high quality pastries and chocolate pralines, however I would have expected more selection. There is only a small table outside and the bar desk is quite small, but we know that coffee in Trieste is drunk all at once. Personnel is kind and prepared. Historical location to be visited if you are in the city centre.

Cakes as well . Very welcoming stuff . Inside is beautiful... Historical place to visit and enjoy ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice renovation has just been finished and they've re-opened recently. You can find Triestino deserts as well as modernly designed deserts and chocolates. Croissants are delicious, liked it :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Historic cafe has been back for a while now and I'm so glad about it. Cafe is good but make no mistake, you will come here for the pastries: the mignon with whipped cream are heavenly delicious and definitely my favourites. You can't go wrong choosing the maritozzo or the sacher though. The classic interior, which preserves the historic value of this cafe is a treat too. Highly rcommended, James Joyce would approve!
