★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place for dessert ever. I was so impressed and i cannot help but writing a review for this place. (Actually this is my first review ever) We just found this place in our way to go catacombes! I had no expectation at first, but all the desserts in here were amazing! Tartes, cappuccino, espresso, and strawberry pastry were great. I wish we had our accomodation near here.... You guys should open a new branch near the center of the Rome...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best pastryshop ever! I've lived next door for 6 months and it has been a real treat every time I got something from this place. Not only the pastries, but also the coffee and aperitivo are delicious (great spritz!). Last but not least; outstanding staff. Very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a tourist and do not have a car (because public transportation service in Rome is horrendously dysfunctional) get a uber, hail a cab, do whatever it takes to get here in the morning and savor the wonderful selection of brioche (o cornetto in Romano) and pastries. Bompiani is the best pastry shops in Rome and probably in many major cities of Italy.
Try the coffee flavored croissant with cream filling, patè choux with zabaione filling... And the selection of petite fours.
It wont be a wasted trip trust me!

I ended up here by accident and initially stopped here only to have a pastry but after trying the first one I ordered two more, one spritz and with it came a few more savory pastries (offered by the owner). Everything here is fresh, well researched and thought. The combinations of different ingredients and the design created are unique. A very nice surprise - highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a must visit place in Rome ahead with the Colosseum and the Pantheon etc. Located a bit far from the center (1hour away walking) with most likely one of the best service you will encounter in Rome despite not all of the staff are speaking fluently english. About the sweets, coffee, sandwiches(afternoon), croissants(in the morning) they are like peaces of heaven which you can taste. I totally reccomend this on your visit of Rome.
