★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit of an institution in Levanto. Don't be put off by the morning queues - fresh brioche and other cakes very good. Also does other deserts and cakes. Fruit tarts wonderful - we ordered one for a birthday. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible Crema- thick with too much cornstarch and gelatinous. Not creamy or good at all! The chocolate creme pat was just as bad. The croissant wasn't crisp either. The decor is beautiful inside, the coffee is ok, but the cakes and patisseries are terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The interior takes you back in time to the 1920s or perhaps before. Coffee is great, cakes, donuts and pastries tasty, bar service friendly. It's a nice place to stop before you go off exploring the town or hills around or indeed when you come back.
