Dolci magnifici ma, su tutti, eccellono gli spumoni; ai fichi e "copeta", alla nocciola, al pistacchio, insomma una vera bontà.
Se vi trovate da quelle parti, una piccola sosta non vi deluderà.
A splendid pastry shop in a small town in Salento, Vernole, on the Lecce-San Foca road.
Magnificent desserts but, above all, the spumoni excel; with figs and "copeta", hazelnut, pistachio, in short, a real goodness.
If you are in those parts, a little stop will not disappoint you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giorni fa abbiamo assaggiato uno spumone della pasticceria ALABAMA in un ristorante Torre dell'Orso ed era buonissimo: gelato alla nocciola con cuore di cioccolato, mandorle e fichi! Stasera siamo andati alla pasticceria ALABAMA a Vernole dove oltre agli spumoni abbiamo assaggiato un ottimo gelato al cioccolato e pistacchio, poi abbiamo acquistato della piccola pasticceria di pasta di mandorle veramente squisita. C'era molto altro, vi consiglio di farci un salto se siete nelle vicinanze.
Days ago we tasted a spumone from the ALABAMA pastry shop in a Torre dell'Orso restaurant and it was delicious: hazelnut ice cream with a heart of chocolate, almonds and figs! Tonight we went to the ALABAMA pastry shop in Vernole where in addition to the spumoni we tasted an excellent chocolate and pistachio ice cream, then we bought some really delicious small almond paste pastry. There was much more, I recommend you drop by if you are nearby.

Prezzi nella norma. Possibilità di parcheggio agevolato nelle vicinanze del locale.
Fornita anche rosticceria e pasticceria per prima colazione. La sera chiude tardi.
Excellent patisserie in the area. Always well-stocked and varied. Their giant cupcakes are recommended. Easter and Christmas doves and exceptional panettone.
Prices in the norm. Possibility of facilitated parking near the restaurant.
Also supplied rotisserie and pastry for breakfast. In the evening it closes late.

Very high quality products and very friendly staff. We tried their famous spumone: really yummy! Even the salty (tried the day after) was unsurpassed: exquisite rustic Lecce dishes. A must stop in the Lecce area! We will be back!

Ho commissionato una torta con copertura in pasta di mandorla e ripieno in crema chantilly, pistacchio e croccante. I prodotti di alta qualità hanno reso la degustazione un'esperienza orgasmica.
Da segnalare il rapporto qualità prezzo decisamente imbattibile. Buona anche la rosticceria.

I commissioned a cake with almond paste topping and filled with Chantilly cream, pistachio and crunchy. The high quality products made tasting an orgasmic experience.
Worth mentioning is the definitely unbeatable value for money. The rotisserie is also good.
