 Beautiful saddle, which is now debris marked by landslides and so the route has to bypass enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel passo dolomitico, raggiungibile solamente a piedi, dal rifugio Roda de Vael da sud, oppure da nord dalla valle di Gardeccia.
Il sentiero che sale alla forcella su entrambi i lati è semplice e agevole, meno la parte sommitale che si fa decisamente erta, su ghiaione detritico.
Panorama stupendo, in giornata limpida guardando verso nord si può osservare l'intero Catinaccio, comprese le torri del Vajolet e il rifugio omonimo.
Escursione consigliatissima!
Beautiful Dolomite pass, reachable only on foot, from the Roda de Vael refuge from the south, or from the north from the Gardeccia valley.
The path that goes up to the saddle on both sides is simple and easy, except for the top part which becomes decidedly steep, on scree debris.
Wonderful panorama, on a clear day looking north you can see the whole Catinaccio, including the Vajolet towers and the homonymous refuge.
Highly recommended excursion!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passo escursionistico d'alta quota raggiungibile agevolmente dal rifugio Roda di Vael con semplice e suggestiva, nonché panoramica passeggiata. E' uno stretto valico che permette di ammirare le vette del gruppo del Catinaccio da un punto di vista molto istruttivo. E' veramente un bel posto.
E' molto frequentato ma non ho mai trovato eccessiva folla.
High altitude hiking pass easily reachable from the Roda di Vael refuge with a simple and suggestive, as well as panoramic walk. It is a narrow pass that allows you to admire the peaks of the Catinaccio group from a very instructive point of view. It is truly a beautiful place.
It is very popular but I have never found an excessive crowd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante passo Dolomitico,ci si arriva da più sentieri,Io personalmente preferisco dopo il passo delle Coronelle,arrivare al passo delle Cigolade tramite il sentiero n. 541,secondo me è il percorso più bello.......Cmq spettacolo puro....salite abbastanza impegnative ma cmq fattibili.....Da provare
Interesting Dolomitic pass, you can get there from several paths, I personally prefer after the Coronelle pass, to get to the Cigolade pass through path n. 541, in my opinion it is the most beautiful route ....... Anyway pure show .... quite demanding climbs but feasible cmq ..... To try

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Percorso molto bello anche se non bene indicato, soprattutto nell'ultimo tratto. In qualche punto il percorso è franato, ma è comunque presente un percorso alternativo.
Very nice route even if not well indicated, especially in the last part. At some point the path has collapsed, but there is still an alternative path.
