I live in the UK and I got married in Tuscany in September 2018 and chose Vanita Hair Spa as the hairdresser for my wedding. A few positive points to begin with. The team is helpful, friendly and always available to provide advice. My overall experience however was very negative. I had decided to go for a semi open, curled hairstyle with a few clip in extensions. During the hair trial the team told me that they would not use any hairspray or other products for the trial in order not to have any product on the extensions, and that therefore I shouldn't be surprised if the hairstyle wouldn't last very long. I was told that for the wedding day itself the hairstyle would last day and night because of the products they would use. This was however not the case. Shortly after the ceremony I was left with almost no curls, and my veil and the extensions started falling. By the time we had dinner my hair looked totally messy and unbrushed that I had no choice but to leave dinner with my bridesmaids to take out the extensions, brush and curl my hair again. As a result I was absent for more than an hour of my wedding dinner. My poor quality hairstlyle is the only regret I have about my wedding day as otherwise the day was absolutely perfect. Given the amount of money I paid to Vanita Hair Spa it is unacceptable to have such a poor quality bridal hairstyle and that not even the veil was correctly placed. When I emailed them a few days after the wedding to let them know about my experience I had no reply.

I was very happy when I went for my trial at the studio, but they sent someone different on the actual day of my wedding and I was not happy at all. Although the end result of my hair was fine, I had to keep readjusting it as it looked different to what had been trialed. The make-up was the worst! I paid €150 for a bit of BB cream and some bronzer. As for my eyes, I had to take over as the eyeliner was all over the place and the mascara was very clumpy! Very disappointed! Once I paid, the lady quite literally ran out of the place even though she should have helped place the veil in my hair! I should have disputed it at the time, but was about to get married + language barrier made it very difficult.

I made a appointment from 1:00pm with a gentleman that worked there he told me to come in. I’m from America so I was on time at 12:50pm I sat in the waiting room until 1:15. Then a young women came up washed my hair. She sat me down in a booth left me there for another 10 min to do laundry. I walked out and left.this was the worst customer service I ha ever seen. It was not a language barrier it was them not wanted to help me.
