Maria di Sessano, look total white e forme stondate che si allontanano da quelle austere del periodo fascista del quale la vicina città di Latina ne è ricca; parcheggio sempre a disposizione, aiuole antistanti sempre curate e monumenti posti a ricordare la storia del luogo. Costruita nell'immediato dopoguerra, contiene al suo interno opere come la via crucis in terracotta, il mosaico di Maria Santissima della Fiducia, il mosaico della Madonna della Passione, e le tre piccole formelle in ceramica volute dal parroco nel 1994, volte a rappresentare il cammino di fede della comunità in occasione del 50° anno dalla fine della seconda guerra mondiale. Inoltre per gli amanti della storia vi è la chiesetta antica, che vanta il primato di essere una delle chiese costruite per prime durante il periodo della bonifica della palude Pontina, edificata nel 1927, assume il nome attuale di S.Maria Assunta in Cielo il 1°Gennaio 1937.
The church of S. Maria di Sessano is beautiful, with a total white look and rounded shapes that move away from the austere ones of the fascist period of which the nearby city of Latina is rich; parking always available, always well-kept flowerbeds in front and monuments placed to remember the history of the place. Built immediately after the war, it contains works such as the terracotta via crucis, the mosaic of Maria Santissima della Fiducia, the mosaic of the Madonna della Passione, and the three small ceramic tiles commissioned by the parish priest in 1994, aimed at representing the journey of faith of the community on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Also for history lovers there is the ancient church, which boasts the distinction of being one of the first churches built during the period of the reclamation of the Pontina swamp, built in 1927, assuming the current name of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo on 1 January 1937.
