★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Albizzate si trova nel centro della città di Albizzate e 5 minuti dalla fermata del treno Albizzate-Solbiate. La Chiesa Parrocchiale dedicata a S. Alessandro, è molto antica e lungo i secoli ha subito diverse modifiche che ne hanno alterato l’aspetto originario. La chiesa è formata da una sola navata e dedicata al martire Sant’Alessandro è stata restaurata il 6 gennaio 1641. Tra il 1983-1985 si è proceduto ad un’opera di restauro completo dell’intero complesso.
The church of Albizzate is located in the center of the city of Albizzate and 5 minutes from the Albizzate-Solbiate train stop. The Parish Church dedicated to St. Alexander is very ancient and over the centuries has undergone several changes that have altered its original appearance. The church is made up of a single nave and dedicated to the martyr Saint Alexander was restored on 6 January 1641. Between 1983-1985 a complete restoration work was carried out on the entire complex.
