★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima chiesa del XVII secolo, con una serie di altari lignei che sono frutto di un artigianato locale e non , che operava a livelli di qualità alta. Pregevole l'altare maggiore con il quadro della Madonna del Carmine. Lodevole l'opera che l'attuale parroco sta svolgendo per il recupero e la salvaguardia della chiesa. La chiesa fu voluta da Isabella Filomarino moglie di Giangirolamo II Acquaviva d'Aragona detto il Guercio di Puglia.
Beautiful 17th century church, with a series of wooden altars that are the result of local and non-local craftsmanship, which operated at high quality levels. The high altar with the painting of the Madonna del Carmine is valuable. The work that the current parish priest is carrying out for the recovery and safeguarding of the church is commendable. Ho trovato grande partecipazione anche durante le Celebrazioni infrasettimanali e si nota la cura che la comunità ha di questo luogo sacro. Bello anche l'organo antico, recentemente restaurato anche se non ho avuto il piacere di sentirlo.
