La chiesa, dedicata a Maria Assunta, in pieno stile romanico, risale al XIII secolo, mentre la torre è del secolo XVI.
Inizialmente si viene attirati soprattutto dal tetto molto particolare, molto colorato e dalla imponente torre di 75 metri di altezza, ma appena entrati ci si rende conto di essere in un luogo speciale: l'intera chiesa è ricoperta di affreschi in buono stato di conservazione (restaurati tra il 1950 e il 1970).
 Probably one of the most beautiful churches in South Tyrol.
The church, dedicated to Maria Assunta, in full Romanesque style, dates back to the 13th century, while the tower is from the 16th century.
Initially you are attracted above all by the very particular roof, very colorful and by the imposing tower of 75 meters high, but as soon as you enter you realize that you are in a special place: the whole church is covered with frescoes in good condition ( restored between 1950 and 1970).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto bella questa chiesa cattolica in stile gotico risalente al quattordicesimo secolo. All'interno si respira l'aria medievale cupa e semplice arricchita da notevoli affreschi. Dietro la chiesa c'è il cimitero, tipicamente tedesco, ordinato, semplice.
Very beautiful this Catholic church in Gothic style dating back to the fourteenth century. Inside you can breathe the grim and simple medieval air enriched by remarkable frescoes. Behind the church is the cemetery, typically German, ordered, simple.
