★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è a navata unica e di piccole-medie dimensioni. Risale probabilmente alla fine del Duecento; successivi rifacimenti furono fatti nel Cinquecento, nel Settecento e ancora una sessantina di anni fa nella facciata fu inserito il travertino. Gli affreschi sulla facciata rappresentano San Nicolò.
All'interno è presente una stele marmorea risalente al I secolo d.C. che costituisce una testimonianza della presenza romana nel territorio di Pozzolo.
Il campanile fu rialzato nel 1911.
All’interno l’edificio vanta numerosi affreschi, principalmente ad opera di Rodolfo Gambini.
La balaustra è in marmo di Carrara e rosso di Spagna del 1750.
The church has a single nave and small-medium size. It probably dates from the end of the thirteenth century; later renovations were made in the sixteenth century, in the eighteenth century, and about sixty years ago travertine was added to the façade. The frescoes on the facade represent San Nicolò.
Inside there is a marble stele dating back to the 1st century AD which is a testimony of the Roman presence in the territory of Pozzolo.
The bell tower was raised in 1911.
Inside the building boasts numerous frescoes, mainly by Rodolfo Gambini.
The balustrade is in Carrara marble and Spanish red from 1750.

La chiesa venne ricostruita nel 1725, il campanile nel 1911e la facciata rivestita di travertino tra il 1960 e il 1961.
Una stele marmorea del I secolo D.C, testimonianza della presenza romana, è posta sulla parete rivolta a sud.
All'interno sono conservate:
• due quadri su tela del pittore manierista G. B. Chiappe (prima metà del ‘700);
• San Nicolò in Gloria del pittore Paolo Borroni (1749 - 1820).
The first documented records date back to the year 1523.
The church was rebuilt in 1725, the bell tower in 1911 and the façade covered with travertine between 1960 and 1961.
A marble stele from the 1st century AD, testimony to the Roman presence, is placed on the south-facing wall.
Inside are preserved:
• two paintings on canvas by the mannerist painter G. B. Chiappe (first half of the '700);
• San Nicolò in Gloria by the painter Paolo Borroni (1749 - 1820).
