Nel 1480 è pieve e parrocchia con arciprete.Tra il 1679 ed il 1695 l'edificio fu invertito nell'orientamento e ricostruito in forme barocche. La torre campanaria di epoca romanica fu soprelevata e rinnovata nelle forme attuali.Tra il 1879 ed il 1890 fu edificata la nuova parrocchiale; l'antica chiesa di S. Biagio fu tagliata trasversalmente all’altezza del presbiterio dal nuovo edificio e riconvertita in oratorio. Esternamente l'edificio si presenta con facciata rivolta ad oriente. Torre campanaria addossata al fianco settentrionale della chiesa. Impianto planimetrico ad unica aula rettangolare, con presbiterio rialzato di un gradino. Le pareti interne, intonacate e tinteggiate, sono cinte superiormente da una sottile cornice in stucco; al centro della parte di fondo un’archeggiatura cieca modanata accoglie l’altare pre-conciliare. L’aula è coperta da una volta a botte semiellittica in canniccio intonacato, decorata con due medaglioni in cui sono affrescati la “Gloria di S. Biagio” e “S. Pietro”. Copertura a due falde con struttura lignea portante e manto in coppi di laterizio. La pavimentazione dell’aula è realizzata in piastrelle di cemento bianche, rosse e nere; il presbiterio è pavimentato con piastrelle di cemento con decorazione policroma. The first direct mention concerning the Casaleone church dates back to 1145, the year in which Pope Eugene III recalls the "ecclesia Casalavuni". The bell tower of the Romanesque period was raised and renewed in its present form. Between 1879 and 1890 the new parish church was built; the ancient church of S. Bell tower leaning against the northern side of the church. Planimetric plan with a single rectangular hall, with a raised presbytery of a step. The interior walls, plastered and painted, are surrounded on the upper part by a thin stucco frame; at the center of the bottom part a blindly molded carving welcomes the pre-conciliar altar. The room is covered by a semi-elliptical barrel vault in plastered canopy, decorated with two medallions in which the "Gloria di S. Biagio" and "S. Peter". Cover with two pitches with a wooden structure and a roof in brick tiles. The floor of the classroom is made of white, red and black cement tiles; the presbytery is paved with cement tiles with polychrome decoration.
