★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fine, no problems. 2 euro per hour, free of you eat at designated trattoria. Clean toilets. Five minutes to Duomo but uphill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice to have a safer place to leave the car while at the cathedral. We were under an hour, so the €2 didn't seem the ripoff that other reviewers were complaining about, but I get what they're saying. Exit through the back down hill on the usual narrow twisty streets

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible. The parking attendant gets you to double park your and then leave the keys in the car with the window down. Try explaining that to your car rental/insurance company if something goes wrong.
The owners reply that we were in a different location is completely incorrect. Yes, it is automated (ticket at entry, gate, payment) but there was a gentleman in the parking area directing parking. What is even more disturbing us that the owner is apparently unaware that this is happening or is loose with the truth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still need to walk about 7 min to the Cathedral. Detour when you leave the carpark (not driving back the way you drove from Palermo to Monreale). Park on a slope which makes thing difficult. Only good thing is if you go to a designated place for lunch then the parking is free.
