Esperienza assolutamente consigliata.
The Park of Portofino, a splendid natural area, offers numerous paths - some even more challenging - that start from the village and lead to San Fruttuoso, S. Margherita, San Rocco, Camogli, giving you incredible views between the sea and the Apennine ridges, also coveted by wild boars .
Since there is a certain variety of tracks based on your training, you can choose more or less difficult routes, always making use of good hiking boots, a bottle of water ... and devices to immortalize bays, cliffs, sea and villages with photos.
Absolutely recommended experience.

Fantastica esperienza.
Starting from Camogli, arriving at the abbey of San Fruttuoso, a route that passes through San Rocco and the Batterie with a descent to Punta Chiappa.
Despite the difficulty of the stretch on the rock and the last climb before descending to the abbey, the walk was spectacular. Well-traced and marked routes, columns present everywhere with directions, signs for the points where you can communicate in case of danger.
Fantastic experience.

β β β β β A magical park area that marries the land, the beautiful ocean and the turquoise sky. Thoroughly recommended to access Portofino from Santa Margherita Ligure. This is a breathtaking experience.

β β β β β What a wonderful world. Italy has many beautiful surprises and this is one. A nice and atypical park with many many great places. The path is well marked and there is a lot of picnic area with tables and views. Sadly there is two drawbacks. The first one is the map indicated on every main signals in the park, indeed the satellite view isn't accurate enough. Secondly there is no place to bivouac. I know there is a shelter but a national park which is close to nature must have a dedicated place to campers. Globally if you have a detour to do to see this park, do it.
