★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partendo da Galbiate si raggiunge in meno di due ore,attraverso un facile sentiero,la cima del monte a 922 mt.Adatto a tutti, ma prestare molta attenzione all'ultimo pezzo frale rocce che è impegnativo. Dalla sua cima è possibile ammirare un panorama che spazia a ovest dal Cornizzolo, I Corni di Canzo, il Moregallo per proseguire a nord con il ramo di Lecco e chiudere andando verso est con la Grignetta , e il Resegone con la sottostante città di Lecco.Non da ultimo è possibile fare "interessanti" incontri nel bosco..
 Starting from Galbiate you can reach in less than two hours, through an easy path, the top of the mountain at 922 meters. Suitable for everyone, but pay close attention to the last piece of rocks which is challenging. From its top it is possible to admire a panorama that sweeps west from the Cornizzolo, I Corni di Canzo, the Moregallo to continue north with the Lecco branch and close by going eastwards with the Grignetta, and the Resegone with the underlying city of Lecco. Last but not least it is possible to have "interesting" encounters in the woods ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monte Barro raggiungibile da Milano in 50 min. Consiglio di parcheggiare a Monte barro parcheggio in quanto da Galbiate diventerebbe una destinazione troppo lontana. Vetta raggiungibile in circa 1 ora e un quarto, tratto finale molto ripido. Vista incantevole, il lago di Annone oltre a quello di Lecco, il Resegone e la Grignetta.
Monte Barro reachable from Milan in 50 min. I recommend parking in Monte Barro parking as it would become too far a destination from Galbiate. Summit reachable in about 1 hour and a quarter, very steep final stretch. Enchanting view, the lake of Annone as well as that of Lecco, the Resegone and the Grignetta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tutto il Monte Barro è un insieme di siti molto belli da vedere e visitare. Innumerevoli i sentieri da percorrere dai quali si raggiungono le viste panoriche più belle, dal Lago di Lecco coi suoi "monti" con lo spettacolare Resegone e scorcio di Pescarenico; alla vista stupenda dei laghi di Oggiono Annone Pusiano e Alserio, da ammirare dal Cappello degli Alpini e da vedere assolutamente al tramonto. Senza dimenticare gli scavi archeologici dell'antica città di Barre affascinante sito.
The whole of Monte Barro is a collection of very beautiful sites to see and visit. There are countless paths to follow from which you can reach the most beautiful panoramic views, from Lake Lecco with its "mountains" with the spectacular Resegone and a glimpse of Pescarenico; to the stupendous view of the lakes of Oggiono Annone Pusiano and Alserio, to be admired from the Cappello degli Alpini and absolutely to be seen at sunset. Without forgetting the archaeological excavations of the ancient city of Barre fascinating site.
