Il tour dura circa due ore ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Si accede dalla piazza della chiesa di Bellagio, anch'essa molto caratteristica. Il parco è accessibile da marzo a novembre e solo con visite guidate: una alla mattina alle 11 e una nel pomeriggio alle 15.30. Anche se dal punto di vista botanico il parco non è privo di interesse, la storia del luogo e della fondazione americana, la vista spettacolare che spazia su tutti i rami del lago e la rara competenza della guida Paola sono i motivi che rendono meritevole la visita del parco. The park is located on the promontory of Bellagio and is owned by the Rockefeller Foundation that uses the villa and studies arranged along the paths as a place of residence and meeting place for scholars and scientists that deal with social problems, medical research and ecology. The park is accessible from March to November and only with guided tours: one in the morning at 11am and one in the afternoon at 3.30pm. Although the botanical point of view the park is not without interest, the history of the place and the American foundation, the spectacular view that stretches across all branches of the lake and the rare skill of Paola guide are the reasons that make it worth the visit of the park.

Il sentiero di visita conduce alla sommità del monte di Bellagio, dal quale si può godere di una vista mozzafiato sui tre rami del lago di Como. Ma prima di giungere a questo panorama, il sentiero si snoda tra alberi secolari e luoghi incantevoli che invitano alla meditazione. Non dico altro: bisogna viverla questa emozione, lasciando che vista, olfatto e udito godano indisturbati. L'ingresso si trova a fianco della magnifica basilica di San Giacomo.
