★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una meraviglia. E poi il Convento... Amo la natura, ma la Spiritualità è superiore. Il bosco? Ripario, mesofilo, tipico dei "fossi" abruzzesi. Ma non è la solita natura artificiale creata dall'abbandono dei terreni; è il classico lembo di lecceta salvato al dissodamento in altri tempi, forse perché appartenente al Convento. Vale una visita in scarpe comode e... ginocchi piegati.
Wonderful. And then the Convent ... I love nature, but Spirituality is superior. The forest? Riparian, mesophilic, typical of the Abruzzo "ditches". But it is not the usual artificial nature created by land abandonment; it is the classic strip of holm oak which was saved from tillage in other times, perhaps because it belongs to the Convent. Worth a visit in comfortable shoes and ... bent knees.
