One of the most evocative places in the city of Ascoli Piceno, the university bar makes the park even more usable, a habit for citizens but a highly recommended place for tourists! A walk in the green and as a reward a priceless view of the city from above. Now the tower of the Pia Fortress stands out freed from too many shrubs and offers a magical glimpse!

Ascoli is a small city, but rich in monuments, churches, characteristic spaces. The Annunziata is one of these. A magnificent church, open every Saturday evening from 9pm to 11pm for guided and animated worship. Unusual church: there are no benches but chairs and carpets donated by some women of the city. Every corner of its interior deserves a shot. Those who have the opportunity to visit it and stop for adoration will breathe an air that they will hardly find elsewhere: prayer, meditation, silence, and an opportunity (for those who have faith) to meet Jesus in the Eucharist. In front of the church there is a park equipped to entertain the children. In the corner on the left of the park, as if from a small terrace, you can enjoy an overview of the city. Below, the beautiful park / garden of the Annunziata stands out, to be explored on foot in the shade of the plane trees. From there you can go up the stairs and admire the walls of the Colle dell Annunziata, dating back to the Roman era. A nice walk, uphill, between steps and dirt road .. and if you are lucky, if the faculty of architecture is open you can also admire (immediately after crossing the entrance door) the cloister attached to the church, now in use at the university, whose walls are all frescoed. In short, a simple place, but full of peace.
