Ci torneremo. Park with ample space for running and playing and lots of equipment for children. There is also a tub with sand, from which my son never wanted to go out! We will be back.

Nice park, relaxing atmosphere, but: ⚠️People with dogs should have more respect for the environment ... ⚠️ cyclists often go at an excessive speed in the lap around the pond, therefore dangerous for those who walk or run.

P	Paolo Bassanelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parco comunale abbastanza grande, annesso alla Casa Militare Umberto I, che in passato ha svolto la funzione di casa di riposo per veterani e reduci di guerra. Ci sono vasti spazi verdi e molte strutture, giochi e aree dove piccoli e grandi possono divertirsi. Carrucola, scivoli, altalene e molto altro. Presenza di bagni vicino all’entrata, che non è per nulla scontato e che fornisce alla mia recensione una grande nota positiva. D’altro canto, però, l’accesso ai cani è vietato. C’è un campetto da basket, utilizzato anche per skate o pattini a rotelle. Mi ha colpito la collinetta, che porterebbe ad una vista sul parco, se non fosse per il fatto che, alla mia visita, era completamente circondata da alberi che impedivano la vista. Una parte del parco, in cui si intravede una statua, è chiusa e mi chiedo se era e se verrà aperta al pubblico. Immagino sia l’area adibita al tiro con l’arco, collegata forse alla vecchia entrata alla casa di riposo? Per quanto riguarda gli orari estivi, chiudere alle 19 mi sembra un po’ presto. Suggerirei di posticipare almeno alle 20, come fanno altri parchi. Ci tornerò sicuramente in periodo estivo. Fairly large municipal park, annexed to the Umberto I Military House, which in the past served as a retirement home for veterans and war veterans. There are vast green spaces and many facilities, games and areas where young and old can enjoy themselves. Pulley, slides, swings and much more. Presence of bathrooms near the entrance, which is by no means taken for granted and which gives my review a great positive note. On the other hand, however, access to dogs is prohibited. There is a basketball court, also used for skate or roller skates. I was struck by the mound, which would lead to a view of the park, were it not for the fact that, on my visit, it was completely surrounded by trees that blocked the view. A part of the park, where you can see a statue, is closed and I wonder if it was and if it will be open to the public. I imagine it is the area used for archery, perhaps connected to the old entrance to the retirement home? As for the summer opening hours, closing at 7pm seems a bit early. I would suggest postponing to at least 8pm, as other parks do. I will definitely be back in the summer.
