Consiglio a chiunque di visitarlo, anche perché non è molto conosciuto, ma è una esperienza da non perdere. Visited the national museum of Egnazia. Really very interesting and very well organized. I recommend anyone to visit it, also because it is not very well known, but it is an experience not to be missed.

Personale disponibile e cortese, il tutto gratuito (ancora per poco in teoria) da vedere anche il museo, la tomba e la necropoli! Consigliatissimo. Magnificent archaeological site! A pearl! Helpful and courteous staff, all free (still briefly in theory) to see also the museum, the tomb and the necropolis! Highly recommended.

Peccato che in questo periodo di Covid-19 non ci siano visite guidate, ma ci sono i totem con le spiegazioni. Attualmente (luglio 2021) l''ingresso è libero, ma si deve prenotare. Da vedere. It is a nice archaeological site. Interesting is the tomb of the pomegranates with the stone doors. Too bad that in this period of Covid-19 there are no guided tours, but there are totems with explanations. Currently (July 2021) admission is free, but reservations must be made. To be seen.
C	Claudio Vitalba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da vedere assolutamente il parco archeologico di Egnazia che si sviluppa lungo il litorale vicino a Monopoli. L'intera area e' visitabile con un bel percorso a piedi tra gli scavi ricchi di tombe a camera. Da non perdere l'ingresso al museo ricco di reperti dell'antica civilta' Messapica e poi Romana... A must see is the archaeological park of Egnazia which develops along the coast near Monopoli. The whole area can be visited with a nice walk through the excavations full of chamber tombs. Do not miss the entrance to the museum full of finds from the ancient Messapian and then Roman civilization ...
R	Riccardo Zuccherato on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il museo è in fase di ristrutturazione (aprirà sabato 26/09), ma è possibile visitare la necropoli, la città romana e il porto (per questo ultimo c'è una visita alle 12.00 però per altre visite guidate al porto conviene chiamare). The museum is undergoing renovation (it will open on Saturday 26/09), but it is possible to visit the necropolis, the Roman city and the port (for the latter there is a visit at 12.00 but for other guided tours of the port it is advisable to call).
A	A. L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un superbe site archéologique immense et qui mérite au moins 2h voire 2h30 de visite. Nous ne parlons pas italien mais avons réussi à comprendre la plupart des panneaux en anglais. Superbe mise en valeur des vestiges. Dommage que site ne soit pas ouvert l'après midi car nous serions restés plus longuement. Les vestiges de l'acropole ont été fermés avant que nous puissions les atteindre car nous n'aurions pas eu le temps de tout voir avant la fermeture. Le site gagnerait a être plus connu des visiteurs. Je l'ai découvert par hasard avec un panneau sur la voie express. Dommage aussi que le personnel ne parle pas un mot d'anglais... la traduction sur telephone a ses limites quand même... A superb immense archaeological site which deserves at least 2h or even 2h30 of visit. We don't speak Italian but managed to understand most of the signs in English. Superb presentation of the remains. Too bad the site is not open in the afternoon because we would have stayed longer. The acropolis remains were closed before we could reach them as we wouldn't have had time to see everything before closing. The site would benefit from being better known to visitors. I discovered it by chance with a sign on the expressway. It's also a pity that the staff doesn't speak a word of English... the translation on the phone has its limits anyway...
