Ma la presenza dell'uomo in questi luoghi è molto più antica, dato che qui esistono diversi massi erratici con coppelle scavate nella roccia. Il piano è oltremodo panoramico e dava modo agli abitanti di controllare le valli che scendono dal Lario verso la pianura. Post-Roman settlement. Immerso nella natura con una buona varietà di piante e animali, tutto ben segnalato da frequenti cartelli esplicativi. Purtroppo poco conosciuto e frequentato, meriterebbe di più. E	Ele Paderi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Parco Archeologico custodisce reperti ostrogoto-romani del IV-V secolo DC. Nei pressi vi è la Baita degli Alpini, per bere qualcosa, mentre il monumento degli Alpini domina il panorama sui tre laghi minori, in lontananza più verso ovest il Monviso e verso nord il Gran Paradiso. Spettacolare! Dalla sponda ovest del Lago di Lecco (Malgrate o Ponte Azzano) parte il sentiero sulle colline che vi condurrà al Parco, in mezza giornata. Il percorso è ad anello ed è debitamente segnalato una volta giunti alla Baita Pian Sciresa. Dopo la salita iniziale, già si aprono scorci sul lago e sulle montagne molto suggestive. Vi sono due diramazioni per raggiungere il Parco, un sentiero basso ed uno più alto che arriva quasi alla vetta del Sasso della Vecchia. Per chi preferisce raggiungere senza molte fatiche il Parco, vi è una strada asfaltata che vi permetterà di raggiungerlo tranquillamente in auto, vi è un comodo parcheggio all'ingresso, in prossimità del monumento. The route is a loop and is duly reported once you arrive at the Baita Pian Sciresa. After the initial climb, there are already glimpses of the lake and the very suggestive mountains. There are two branches to reach the Park, a low path and a higher one that almost reaches the summit of the Sasso della Vecchia. For those who prefer to reach the Park without much effort, there is a paved road that will allow you to reach it easily by car, there is a convenient parking area at the entrance, near the monument.
