I posteggi sono all'aperto e si trovano fuori dal centro storico cittadino. Il parcheggio è a pagamento, si può pagare a ore oppure per l'intera giornata con una tariffa agevolata. Il luogo è molto vicino a una scalinata che conduce direttamente a una porta della cittadina. I was at this park with my girlfriend during a trip to Volterra. The stands are outdoors and are located outside the historic city center. Parking is paid, you can pay by the hour or for the whole day with a reduced rate. The place is very close to a staircase that leads directly to the town's door.

Quando arrivate alle macchinette per il ticket al centro della piazza siate sicuri di ricordarvi la targa della macchina perché dovete digitarla prima di inserire i soldi. E verificate di poter pagare con il metodo di pagamento supportato dalla macchina. € 1.50 per hour, high season summer 2021. When you arrive at the ticket machines in the center of the square be sure to remember the license plate of the car because you have to type it in before inserting the money. And check that you can pay with the payment method supported by the machine.

Der Automat kann zwar verschiedene Sprachen, aber es wird einem nicht alles verraten, was man für die Bedienung benötigt. Erst die Sprache umstellen. Dann das Autokennzeichen eingeben. Leerzeichen ist egal. Dann muss man den Standardtarif wählen, sonst landet man bei den Tarifen für mehrere Tage. Geld einwerfen und Beleg raus nehmen und ins Auto. 1 Stunde kostet 1,50 Euro (Sept. 21). Von hier ist es zu Fuß über eine steile Treppe ca. min in die Altstadt. Gleich daneben ist auch eine Tankstelle. Huge parking lot at the foot of the old town. Not paved, however, but gritty and dusty. The machine can speak different languages, but it won't tell you everything you need to operate it. First change the language. Then enter the license plate number. Space does not matter. Then you have to choose the standard tariff, otherwise you end up with tariffs for several days. Throw in the money and take out the receipt and into the car. 1 hour costs 1.50 euros (Sept. 21). From here it is about a minute's walk to the old town via a steep staircase. There is also a gas station right next to it.

In season expect a half an hour of waiting just to pay for the parking which you need to do in advance. Better Don't arrive later than 10:30. There is very vlose to the city gates. When you come back your car most likely will be covered in dust.
