β β β β β We went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We got a very nice gentleman waiter he spoke perfect English, who did his best for our evening to be splended. We were shown various meats and seafood that we could choose from for our dinner. My daughter got scared of lobster walking at her so we opted for pasta and it was delicious. Nobody was rushing us, we felt relaxed like in no other restaurant in Italy. In the end they brought a plate with homemade tiramisu and a candle. We were over the moon. Overall very nice interior, great selection of dishes and wines, and excellent staff.

β β β β β Wonderful service, phenomenal food and wine, and great ambianceβ¦ family with kids and everybody had great options to order. It is also very close to the Vatican so we finished the night with a wonderful dessert - profiteroles and Nonaβs cake - followed by a stroll along Piazza
San Pietro.

The service was excellent! We had a charming waiter. Very friendly and had good humor, not to much, a good amount!
The food was very nice! We had the "tagliere papa Rex" and "insalata di mare" as first course, "salmone in crosta di sesamo con contorno di verdure grigliate" and "pizza caprese" as main dish. The finale was a "Tiramisu" and a "torta all'arancia".
Every single course was very good, especially for the price.
We drank two glasses of wine, a big bottle of mineral water and one espresso. The open house wine was very good as well.
We paid 72,5β¬!
I would recommend it to anyone, it was very good food in combination with a nice atmosphere and good friendly service!

β β β β β We probably had our best dinner and the nicest service at Papa Rex. The ravioli was perfectly made and with their recommendation I went for todayβs dessert. It was so soft and creamy with the sweetest chocolate favour. Thank you Claudio!

β β β β β Thank you Claudio. Dining experience plus quality of food make for an amazing time. My wife and I along with another couple dined here on out first night in Rome and met the most wonderful man Claudio who was not only our server but entertained us throughout this and other times. From a morning song and dance to presentations of both lobster and fish he was amazing. Oh and the food was impeccable both quality of ingredients and preparations were top notch. Its also a good place to have an Aperol spritz or five.
