Il giorno dell'appuntamento chiamo il dottore per sapere a che piano mi devo recare e lui mi risponde dicendomi che si è completamente scordato, dice di essere fuori città, si scusa e rimanda l'incontro alla settimana dopo. La settimana dopo vado all'appuntamento e trovo un signore in attesa. Chiacchierando viene fuori che abbiamo appuntamento dallo stesso dottore alla stessa ora. Dopo 20 minuti di attesa, il dottore esce e, evidentemente infastidito, dice che lui è dalle 8 che visita e che quindi chi ha pazienza di aspettare aspetti, altrimenti arrivederci. Poiché il signore era arrivato prima di me, è entrato. Prima di tutto, il mio tempo è prezioso esattamente quanto quello del dottore. Inoltre, il caro dottore (di medicina orientale, che ha un approccio olistico, che si preoccupa della persona prima che della patologia) avrebbe potuto porsi in un altro modo, scusandosi per l'attesa e per l'inconveniente, e pregandomi di avere un po'di pazienza, a maggior ragione visto quanto era successo la settimana prima. Alla luce dell'atteggiamento di quest'uomo, mi è apparso evidente che non corrispondeva affatto al professionista che cercavo, dunque mi sono alzata e ho salutato.
