★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il pantheon e' una chiesa del seicento sita in piazza S.Barbara dedicata anche Gesu' e Maria.Il tempio ospita all'interno decine e decine di corpi dei militari paternesi morti durante i due conflitti mondiali,e presenta una sobria facciata delineata da due paraste che racchiudono il bellissimo portale in pietra lavica a tribuna,con due coppie di colonne per lato che sorreggono la trabeazione.L'interno ad unica navata e' in stile barocco,molto interessanti gli altari laterali arricchiti da colonne tortili e stucchi che racchiudono interessanti tele del sei-settecento,i s.medici Cosma e Damiano.S.Filippo neri.il SS.Crocifisso e s.giovanni di Malta.sull'altare maggiore e' posta una tela di Gesu' e Maria.la chiesa custodisce anche le bellissime statue dei S.Cosma e Damiano del 600' in legno policromo
 The pantheon is a seventeenth-century church located in Piazza S. Barbara and also dedicated to Jesus and Mary. The temple houses dozens and dozens of bodies of paternesi soldiers who died during the two world wars, and presents a sober façade outlined by two pilasters that enclose the beautiful portal in lava stone to tribune, with two pairs of columns on each side that support the entablature. The interior with a single nave is in Baroque style, very interesting are the side altars enriched by spiral columns and stuccos that contain interesting canvases of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the doctors Cosma and Damiano.S.Filippo neri.il SS.Crocifisso and s.ovovanni of Malta.on the high altar there is a canvas of Jesus and Maria.la church also houses the beautiful statues of S. Cosma and Damiano of the 600 'in polychrome wood
