C’è un borgo, Rofrano, incastonato ai piedi del massiccio del Cervati, dove ancora oggi la produzione del pane parte dalla coltivazione del grano. Basti pensare al Palio del Grano di Caselle in Pittari che quest’anno giunge alla XIV edizione. A Rofrano il pane è parte integrante della cultura alimentare e a testimoniare la qualità del prodotto c’è La spiga d’oro che oggi vanta diversi punti vendita sparsi in tutto il Cilento ma che nasce proprio qui, a Rofrano.

There is a village, Rofrano, nestled at the foot of the Cervati massif, where even today the production of bread starts from the cultivation of wheat.
