Nice place in the center of Piacenza; great for breakfasts and a quick lunch. The pizzas and focaccias are very good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely experience. We had walked 34km to get to Piacenza and the staff made two weary travellers feel very welcome. We had two delicious pizzas: one with a rich tomato sauce, anchovies, shrimp and capers; the other with a mix of grilled vegtables. The crust was airy, a little crunchy and buttery - so unique and delicious! Then we had a honey apple tart that was just fabulous - could have eaten two more.
Cost for enough pizza to satisfy two weary hikers (plus two sparkling waters and two cokes): €21 - great value for money!
We asked the staff - in our broken English - how to call a taxi, because we were too tired to walk anymore. The lovely gentleman serving us went ahead and called a taxi service and arranged a pickup right by the resto. Such kind and good people.
Highly recommend.
