Excellent quality and wide choice of baked goods. I tried a vegan version of the Maritozzo with a turmeric cream that was out of this world!

Io, ospite di Sanbenedetto seguace del Bio e del Km zero, sulla strada che porta a mare sento il profumo del pane caldo appena sfornato, profumo di grani antichi e lievito madre. Stefania e Luano spinti dalla loro vocazione per la sana alimentazione hanno dato vita a questo punto vendita basato sulla produzione di pane e prodotti da forno che con questa qualità non riesco a trovare in blasonati negozi bio qui al Nord Ovest. Se poi a questo ci aggiungi una meticolosa ricerca di prodotti specifici del territorio Piceno tra cui formaggi freschi di piccoli produttori e gli insaccati e le olive ascolane di Fattoria Ciafone, l'offerta è veramente notevole. Ma io avendo necessità di ritrovare l'energia che il mare estivo sottrae, qui al "Pane Antico" ho trovato lo zucchero integrale di cocco "Gulamerah" per le mie colazioni a base di granite al caffè e panna e non solo, con sorpresa il raro zucchero di Bali viene utilizzato da Luano per produrre gli irresistibili Maritozzi! Ai miei giorni felici a Sanbenedetto, "Pane Antico" ha dato un sostanzioso e piacevole contributo.
