It is the longest bench in the world! Yes you can be in many and do many things! There is a pond where you can admire the ducklings. Especially recommended in summer, when you can enjoy the shade on the hottest days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Milano la panchina più lunga del mondo si trova nel parco “Industria Alfa Romeo” del Portello e costeggia un laghetto artificiale. Lunga ben 208 metri è stata realizzata dalla ditta bergamasca Pacchiarini che sta per inaugurarne presto un’altra ad Affori.
La panchina è stata realizzata con una forma curvilinea che si adatta al paesaggio circostante. Per costruirla sono state impiegate 1800 stecche di legno lunghe quattro metri ciascuna, 500 gambe in ferro e 25000 viti.
La nascita della panchina più lunga del mondo è merito di Pacchiarini, un’azienda di Onore in provincia di Bergamo, specializzata in arredo urbano.
In Milan, the longest bench in the world is located in the “Industria Alfa Romeo” park at Portello and runs alongside an artificial lake. 208 meters long, it was built by the Bergamo-based company Pacchiarini, which is about to inaugurate another one in Affori soon.
The bench was made with a curvilinear shape that adapts to the surrounding landscape. To build it, 1,800 wooden sticks four meters long each, 500 iron legs and 25,000 screws were used.
The birth of the longest bench in the world is thanks to Pacchiarini, a company of Honor in the province of Bergamo, specializing in street furniture.
