Geplant war ein gemütlicher Urlaub mit Freunden bei einer Umsegelung der Insel Elba. Dazu haben wir uns eine Bavaria 36i gechartert. Bei der Ankunft trafen wir auf eine nette Dame im Büro des Charterers bei der wir unser Gepäck erstmal, wie gewohnt, lassen konnten um erstmal Proviant zu besorgen. Die Dame erklärte uns später auch alles sehr freundlich. Als Proviant besorgt war, sollten gegen 13Uhr die Übergabe erfolgen. Leider ging das erst gegen 17Uhr...warum auch immer. Nun halb so wild. Wir treffen auf einen netten jungen Mann der gebrochen Englisch spricht und die Bootsübergabe mit uns macht. Auf irgendwelche Mängel werden wir nicht aufmerksam gemacht. Ein vollkommen verschlissene Winschkurbel wurde auf Bitte aber sofort ersetzt. Schwups ist die Übergabe durch und die Reise kann losgehen. Kaum haben wir den Hafen verlassen, merken wir, dass die Soundanlage nicht geht. Zum Glück haben 2 von uns Bluetooth gesteuerte Soundbars dabei die man auf Bedarf ja laden kann. Es könnte so einfach sein. Doch kaum war der Kühlschrank an, war nach rund 1h die Verbraucherbatterie runter sodass der Batteriealarm regelmäßig los ging. Wir mussten also andauernd den Motor anschalten und jegliche Verbaucher sogar Licht auf ein Minimum reduzieren. Schon ziemlich unentspannt. Ein kühles Blondes sollte die Laune anheben. Nur komisch, dass selbst bei 5h Motorfahrt und max. Kühlung der Kühlschrank nicht kühlt. Dass Kühlschränke auf Booten nicht immer die Besten sind ist bekannt, aber so gar keine Funktion?! Wir waren mittlerweile schon sehr überrascht warum dieser Charterer 5 Sterne bekommen hat. Die Liste an Mängeln setzte sich fort. Der Fäkalientank war mini was nunmal so ist bei dem Modell aber der Inhalt des Schlauches drückte immer zurück in die Schüssel trotz richtiger Bedienung. Das hat wirklich sehr gestunken. Die Logge ging nicht. Decklicht war nicht vorhanden usw. Achja beim Eindampfen des Ankers in Sand am vorletzten Reisetag riss der Anker, den wir in 7m Tiefe mit 2h Aufwand und Kreativität geborgen haben. Man tut ja alles für den Charterer und ankert nicht einfach mit dem Ersatzanker weiter. Zurück in San Vincenzo sprachen wir den Inhaber auf all die Mängel an. Bei der Hälfte der Dinge war er der Meinung es sei richtig so wie es ist, bei anderen Mängeln meinte er er könnte diese nur bei Fahrt erkennen und das Boot würde ja nur im Hafen geprüft. Ferner sei eine nicht funktionierende Logge ja schnell selber wieder in Gang gebracht. Das gehöre zum Bootsleben dazu. Unterm Strich war er nicht wirklich einsichtig und auf Frage nach einem kleinen Rabatt für die ganzen Unannehmlichkeiten und technischen Mängel, hat er einfach nur verneint. Er hat sich immerhin für die Bergung des Ankers bedankt was das Mindeste war, denn Materialversagen mit unserer Urlaubszeit auszugleichen ist nicht unsere Aufgabe. Die Höhe war zusätzlich nicht nur die Uneinsichtigkeit sondern viel mehr die unerwartete Haltung zum Thema Wartung. Man geht als Mieter ja davon aus, dass an dem Boot alles vom Charterer geprüft und instand gehalten wird. Hier läuft es etwas anders. Ich gebe sinngemäß wieder: "Wenn die Kunden uns bei Abgabe des Bootes keine Mängel mitteilen, können wir ja nicht wissen was repariert werden muss." Also ist man die leidtragende Crew wenn vor einem niemand was sagt. Der Charterer selbst scheint wohl nichts eigenständig zu prüfen. Das wurde deutlich als wir auf abgelaufene Prüfsiegel auf den Schwimmwesten hingewiesen haben. Der Inhaber meinte die Prüfsiegel könnt ihr vergessen. Hauptsache die beiden Katuschen in der Schwimmweste zeigen grün statt rot. Ich würde mal sagen grob fahrlässig, dafür dass Leben davon abhängen können. Schwimmwesten müssen regelmäßig geprüft werden ob sie 24h aufgeblasen bleiben. Was nützt ne volle Gaskstusche wenn der aufzublasende Körper ein Loch hat. ;-). Anschließend sei zu sagen, dass unsere Urlaubsfreude doch sehr unter den Mängeln des Bootes gelitten hat. Immerhin bleibt zu hoffen, dass es den Crews nach uns besser geht, da sich der Inhaber unsere Mängelliste kopiert hat. Wir werden dort nicht mehr buchen.
A cozy vacation with friends was planned while sailing around the island of Elba. We chartered a Bavaria 36i for this purpose. On arrival we met a nice lady in the office of the charterer, where we could leave our luggage, as usual, to get some provisions first. The lady later explained everything to us in a very friendly manner. When provisions were obtained, the handover should take place around 1 p.m. Unfortunately, that didn't work until around 5 p.m. ... for whatever reason. Well, not so wild. We meet a nice young man who speaks broken English and does the handover of the boat with us. We are not made aware of any defects. A completely worn winch handle was replaced immediately upon request. The handover is over and the journey can begin. As soon as we have left the port, we notice that the sound system is not working. Fortunately, 2 of us have Bluetooth-controlled soundbars with them that can be charged if necessary. It could be so easy. But as soon as the refrigerator was on, the consumer battery was down after around 1 hour so that the battery alarm went off regularly. So we had to keep switching on the engine and even reduce all consumers to a minimum. Already pretty relaxed. A cool blonde should lift the mood. It's just strange that the refrigerator does not cool even after 5 hours of motoring and maximum cooling. It is well known that refrigerators on boats are not always the best, but they do not work at all ?! We were already very surprised why this charterer got 5 stars. The list of shortcomings continued. The holding tank was mini, which is the case with the model, but the contents of the hose always pushed back into the bowl despite correct operation. That really stank. The log did not work. Deck light was not available, etc. Oh yes, when the anchor was evaporated in sand on the penultimate day of travel, the anchor tore, which we recovered at a depth of 7m with 2 hours of effort and creativity. You do everything for the charterer and don't just continue to anchor with the replacement anchor. Back in San Vincenzo we spoke to the owner about all the shortcomings. With half of the things he was of the opinion that it was correct the way it is, with other defects he said he could only recognize them while driving and the boat would only be checked in the port. Furthermore, a non-working log is quickly restarted by itself. That is part of boat life. The bottom line was that he wasn't really understanding and when asked about a small discount for all the inconveniences and technical defects, he simply said no. At least he thanked for the recovery of the anchor, which was the bare minimum, because it is not our job to compensate for material failures with our vacation time. The height was also not only the lack of insight but much more the unexpected attitude to the subject of maintenance. As a tenant, you assume that everything on the boat will be checked and maintained by the charterer. Things are a little different here. I reproduce in the same way: "If the customers do not notify us of any defects when they hand over the boat, we cannot know what needs to be repaired." So you are the suffering crew when nobody says anything in front of you. The charterer himself does not seem to be checking anything independently. This became clear when we pointed out expired test seals on the life jackets. The owner said you can forget the seal of approval. The main thing is that the two cushions in the life jacket show green instead of red. I would say grossly negligent, for the fact that lives can depend on it. Life jackets must be checked regularly to ensure that they remain inflated for 24 hours. What use is a full gas cartridge if the body to be inflated has a hole. ;-). Then it should be said that our holiday joy has suffered a lot from the shortcomings of the boat. At least it remains to be hoped that the crews are better off after us, since the owner has copied our list of defects. We will no longer book there.

Abbiamo preso un Catamarano per una settimana che ci era stato venduto come refittato e in ottime condizioni . Bagni non in condizioni ottimali . Uno di loro era sporchissimo. Spesso lo scarico si interrompeva per colpa di cavi ossidati. Grossi problemi con dissalatore inventato da loro e non a norma. Rumorosissimo e non funzionante . Scotte del fiocco vecchie e rovinate molto rischioso andare a vela . Assistenza solo telefonica per tanti problemi avuti a bordo ma con poca efficacia. Comportamento da parte della società molto strafottente. Considerato il prezzo pagato dovrebbero avere più rispetto per il cliente . Mai più con questa società.
We took a catamaran for a week which was sold to us as refitted and in excellent condition. Bathrooms not in optimal condition. One of them was very dirty. Often the drain was interrupted due to oxidized cables. Big problems with watermaker invented by them and not up to standard. Extremely noisy and not working. Old and damaged jib sheets very risky to sail. Telephone assistance only for many problems encountered on board but with little effectiveness. Behavior on the part of the company very arrogant. Considering the price paid they should have more respect for the customer. Never again with this company.

Ho noleggiato con Palm Yachting la barca Libeccio nella prima settimana di Agosto 2021. In generale durante tutto il processo di booking fino alla consegna dellla barca che e' avvenuta in anticipo rispetto a quello che avevamo accordato ho avuto una buona esperienza, tutto e' andato molto bene. Durante il viaggio abbiamo danneggiato un oblo' della dinette semplicemente camminandoci sopra a piedi nudi. Mi sono subito accorto che l'oblo' presentava una serie di cricche nella zona dei perni di aggancio che sono stati la causa della facilissima rottura. Alla consegna della barca ho fatto notare il tutto e nonostante fosse chiaro che l'oblo' fosse vecchio e prossimo alla rottura mi hanno caricato dal deposito 600 euro per la sostituzione, ho anche chiesto di condividere il 50% del costo viste le gia' precarie condizioni di usura dell'oblo' ma non c'e' stato margine di negoziazione. Se non fosse stato per qusto episodio sarebbe stato da 5 stelle.

During the trip we damaged a porthole in the dinette simply by walking on it with bare feet. I immediately noticed that the porthole had a series of cracks in the area of ​​the coupling pins which were the cause of the very easy breakage. Upon delivery of the boat I pointed out everything and although it was clear that the porthole was old and close to breaking, they charged me from the deposit 600 euros for the replacement, I also asked to share 50% of the cost given the already precarious conditions of wear of the porthole but there was no room for negotiation. If it wasn't for this episode it would have been 5 stars.
