Good indicator boards, good connections to the bus stations with clear signs (although you need to make sure you know which one you are going to) and a good left luggage facility open 8 - 20. 6 Euro per bag is not cheap but what in Italy is :) Did options are MacDonalds! But if you go out the left side (facing the trains) and just the both seeking music there is a nice little coffee shop.

The station is on one of the main streets of Palermo; via Roma. If you walk straight on via Roma you will enter in the historical center.

王	王文龙 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Central railway station of Palermo. It is clean and tidy. The is a fountain inside which people are able to drink water there. The airport shuttle bus stop is on the right side of platform 10, out of the station.
E	Ernie Geefay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took the train from Palermo to Rome in November. The train I choose went all the way. About. 11 hours with an hour stop in Messina. Train was almost empty. There was plenty of room to stow our luggage behind the seats that were back to back. We fit 3 carry on and a big suitcase between the seats. But since there was hardly any passengers we could have stowed them in empty seats. There's no dining car so bring your own food. The seats are comfortable. There are wall plugs to run your electronics. Big picture window. Beats taking a cramped airline , showing up 2 hours early to go thru security and paying hundreds of dollars. For luggage fees Oh. And don't bother buying a ticket from. The ticket machine. . Download the app called TRAIN or similar and buy online. It's faster. It can take forever to punch. In all the informed require when you use the ticket machine
B	Barbra Evans on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely disgusting bathroom on the train to Cefalu on Friday morning. Are all the trains like this? Can I trust a longer train journey? I told the two employees sitting right outside the bathroom. They just stared at me and said nothing. A nicer train on the way back from Cefalu in the afternoon--brand-new--but some of the most uncomfortable seats I've ever seen. I did not attempt another visit to the toilet. Great job, Trenitalia.
M	Md Khurshid Alam Bhuiyan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Red Cross Italia arranged free Rapid test for Covid-19. They are very good. Although I could not get tested as they are closed for 14-15th August 2021. Registration open from 8:30 to 11:30. It’s an efficient effort front the Red Cross for people who need rapid test. Handy if you have a flight and you can get tested before taking the train or bus to Palermo Airport. There is also Free Covid Test point at the Arrival Hall of the Palermo Airport. So no worries if you can’t make rest here.
