PALAZZO MARIA

Consigliatissimo, ci sono stata l’anno scorso e spero di ritornarci presto. La struttura ha una posizione privilegiata, nel centro della città con vista sul Duomo; comoda perché a pochi passi da bar, ristoranti, negozi, etc. e allo stesso tempo a 5min a piedi dal mare!!! L’appartamento offre tutti comfort per un soggiorno con la famiglia (es: cucina attrezzata) e la proprietaria é gentile, disponibile e prodiga di consigli per arricchire l’esperienza a Cefalù e dintorni.

Palazzo Maria è splendido, luminoso e gli appartementi sono super carini e confortevoli. Mi sono trovata bene in tutto, anche il personale sempre gentile, garbato e con il sorriso. Cosa desiderare di più per rilassarsi? Mi ritengo molto soddisfatta, lo consiglio al 100%. ??

È stata un'esperienza bellissima. Ho passato una settimana insieme a mio marito, avevamo bisogno di rilassarci e quale posto migliore se non Palazzo Maria, situato nella bellissima piazza del Duomo. Ci siamo trovati benissimo in tutto, i proprietari gentilissimi e preparati e super disponibili e poi l'appartamento era davvero carino e confortevole con ogni cosa curata nei minimi dettagli, si respirava aria di vacanza. Inoltre il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo. Credo che ci ritorneremo presto! Consigliatissimo!❤?

TOTAL RIP OFF. Do not go there... We went with my wife and my 2 daughters as we love Cefalu... The room we had was dirty, old with no drinkable water, no bottled water in fridge which is a nice surprise when your kid get sick in the middle of the night.. NO SAFETY ! there is no smoke detector in the room (see picture) and there is 2 restaurant' kitchens in the same building. The door is cracked (literaly cracked you can see from outside, inside the room directly on the second bed !!!). Only one window with a "view" on a small street and a balcony covered of piegons feces. Not the view on the plazza as advertised. The street is dark except early in the morning when the sun strike through the window directly on the bed (there is no shutters and the curtains are not thick enough to do anything). The walls are dirty and cracked. There is stains on the walls over the WC (see pictures. I don't want to know what it is...). Everything is old, dirty and in a bad shape. We complained after the first nightmarish night. The complaint was dropped at 9:30am. The host said that he understood our situation and will try to move us to another room, but 8 hours later he finally wrote back (not even a call) saying that they were full and that he had no solution for us. It was 5:40pm so we couldn't find another place and we had to stay a second night there, but we left early in the morning the day after even if we already had paid for a 3rd night. They refused to refund anything (not even the night that we didn't spent there). I'm convinced that this hotel have some nice rooms (it would explain the rating) but they do have at least one disgusting room and the managers are really dishonest (you really don't need 8 hours to tell me that your place is full). Everything about safety is false there is no camera, no closed door to enter the property... You can walk in at 1am and open a door to a room without any tool (just un good little pull). Even if the door is locked. I cannot stress enough how bad this experience was. DO NOT GO THERE.

Great location over looking the cathedral and main square. Lovely building and very spacious apartments.

What a location, absolutely beautiful old buildings. Big apartments but we were on the forth floor and there are no elevators. What a workout! Owners are very kind and friendly. Not easy to get to, do not bring your car in the historical sight, you will get a fine! You should park at the small port and grab a cab to access the piazza. Just a few minutes away. 5 minutes to the beach by walk! Chair and umbrella rentals for family of four is 40 euros a day. Lots of amazing restaurants overlooking the ocean. Memorable spot, we loved it.

Great location and very spacious apartment. We stayed in the king Rodger apartment and found it was clean, very large and made our stay very comfortable. We had two balcony’s facing onto the piazza del Duomo and access to a very large roof terrace which most days we had all to ourselves. You cannot drive your car into the centre of Cefalù, so if you have trouble walking into the centre which took us 10 minutes you’ll need to grab a taxi in or book elsewhere. We found the train station parking reasonable at €6 a day but later in the week on the opposite side of the marina near Al Forno you maybe able to park for free. A few things that could be improved upon: we had to call and ask for fresh towels half way through the week as only one set were given. If you spilt anything in the apartment i.e crumbs we had now dust pan and brush to clean up with. And the only major downside for us was the shower situation. The concertina doors on the shower do not hold back the water from coming out all over the tiled floor. The shower itself was hot and extremely powerful which I love but mopping up a swimming pool afterwards isn’t much fun. Overal though this is a wonderful place to stay and our room would easily accommodate afamily of 4

Good location, but hidden and overpriced. I would not say this is a hotel. More of a serviced apartments situation. We tried driving to the door, a task I would not recommend. The streets are flooded with tourists and very tight. Parking was 10 min walk away and €20 a day. The staff were friendly but untrained/inexperienced. The rooms themselves were very spacious with full kitchen and crockery available. This was good because the place itself had no restaurant for the guests. It is located in the main Piazza and next to the cathedral, in the heart of Cefalù and walking distance to dozens of restaurants. Also a 5 min walk from the closest beach. At ~€130 a night you're paying for mostly location.
