★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il palazzo fu fatto costruire da Antonino Cordopatri nel 1784, su alcuni ruderi di un'antica costruzione del 600 andata distrutta durante il terremoto del 1783. Ubicato nella via omonima, sorge nel cuore della Vibo vecchia ed è una fra le prime costruzioni sorte dopo il 1783, come è evidenziato dagli elementi decorativi neoclassici del prospetto principale.
The palace was built by Antonino Cordopatri in 1784, on some ruins of an ancient building from the 17th century which was destroyed during the earthquake of 1783. Located in the street of the same name, it stands in the heart of the old Vibo and is one of the first buildings to be built after 1783, as evidenced by the neoclassical decorative elements of the main facade.

Francesco Pasquale Cordopatri , appassionato di patrie memorie e fu visitato dall'illustre antichista Th.Mommsen durante il suo sopralluogo autoptico del 1873, su invito a Monteleone degli eredi di Vito Capialbi. Anche F. Lenormant visitò il palazzo e la collezione. Interessante e monumentale il bel portale ancor ben conservato mentre maggiore abbandono si registra nell'atrio. Da vedere il ponte, restaurato dall'indimenticato ing. Baratteri, che collegava il palazzo alla proprietà terriera sito sulla collina vicina del Cofinello
The building contained a library, art gallery and a museum with pieces collected by Comm. Francesco Pasquale Cordopatri, passionate about homeland memories and was visited by the illustrious antiquarian Th.Mommsen during his autoptic inspection of 1873, at the invitation of Vito's heirs to Monteleone Capialbi. F. Lenormant also visited the palace and the collection. The beautiful portal, still well preserved, is interesting and monumental, while more neglect is recorded in the atrium.
