Estive com meu namorado e nossa experiência foi muito mais do que agradável, a nós parecia uma cena de filme Siciliano. O lugar é muito limpo , aconchegante, bem localizado e o host foi muito gentil e disponível o tempo todo Aconselho 100% o local

Palazzo über Generationen im Familienbesitz. Eine Etage ist zum Teil mit orginal Möbel, Bodenfliesen und Deckenmalereien als Ferienwohnung zu mieten. Vier Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder (neu renoviert), ein Art Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und neue Küche. Über ein inneres Treppenhaus gelangt man zur Dachterrasse, die mitgenutzt werden darf. Wir waren zu dritt und fühlten uns sehr wohl im Haus. Man muss nur Bedenken, dass es eine sehr lebhafte Gegend ist, mit Ausgehen und frühen Marktgeschehen. Es ist das italienische Leben, aber wer geräuchempfindlich sollte gewarnt sein.

Il soggiorno presso Palazzo Arcidiacono precisamente al secondo piano del maestoso immobile sito nel centro storico di Catania a due passi dalla centralissima via Etnea e dalla Cattedrale di Sant'Agata, è stato senz'altro il migliore che io abbia potuto sperimentare e vivere nella città Etnea. Sia l'appartamento al piano terra che al secondo piano sono molto grandi e con i tetti affrescati. Entrando si respira la storia, la cultura di Catania. Entrambi gli appartamenti sono dotati di doppi servizi, cucina dotata di tutti i comfort, lavatrice, lavasciuga, lavastoviglie, forno, forno a microonde, frigorifero e tutto ciò che si può desiderare durante una vacanza al massimo del comfort. Le camere da letto sono tutte con i tetti affrescati, i letti sono con materasso in Memory super comodi anche per chi ha problemi di schiena come me! Ho dormito molto bene. Vi consiglio di prendere l'intero appartamento con una bella comitiva di amici. Sono certo che grazie alla bellezza dell'immobile e grazie al terrazzino sito all'ultimo piano del palazzo da dove si gode di una vista mozzafiato su Catania il soggiorno sarà senz'altro al top delle vostre aspettative. P.s le camere e l'intero appartamento sono dotati di aria condizionata. Devo aggiungere la gentilezza e la disponibilità del proprietario Livio che ci ha accolti e trattati come se fossimo di famiglia. Grazie Livio e alla prossima. We had a great stay on the second floor! The rooms are beautiful, with great original decorations on the walls and ceilings. The hosts are very helpful, feel free to ask for help. Great for a family or a group of friends.

The beutiful apartment is in the very center of Catania with balconies overlooking the fruit market. The host has great recommendations for everything you may need during your stay. Highly recommended.

Would you like to go back to the 19th century and feel how it would have been to live in the centre of Catania? Take this opportunity and spend a couple of nights in Palazzo Arcidiacono! I would recommend this hidden gem not just because of it's great location, but because of it's beauty, originality and the great spirit! I, personally, felt like a princes waking up in a huge, beautifully decorated room filled with sunlight and authentic features. Just the originally painted ceiling is already priceless. The apartment is located on the famous Fish & Fruits Market of Catania. You have to like the crowded vibe of it (it stops around 14:00) and the fact that as soon as open the main entrance door you will be right in the middle of the "Italian city life" - we loved it! Livio, the host, was just amazing. He took his time to answer all of our questions, gave us tips of where to eat, where to rent a car, where to go, communicated in perfect English and was always on stand-by. After have travelled through Sicily for a couple of months, I honestly can say that Livio was our best host. Thank you for making our stay so fantastic and memorable! For travellers with kids: kids would love the place. It's spacious (you can even play hide and seek), there is Smart TV, the bath is very comfy, it's safe, from the balcony the kids can be entertained by the crowd walking on the market. Above all the baby cot is new and steady (not a travel cot) and there is a washing machine with a dryer(!). If we would ever return to Catania, it certainly will be to Palazzo Arcidiacono!
