Volete mangiare pesce veramente fresco, pescato locale e cucinato come a casa? Senza chef stellati, senza troppi fronzoli e con porzioni assolutamente Anti-radical-chic? Menzione d'onore per le fritture: semplicemente eccezionali. Grazie. Colesterolo, diabete, diete e nutrizionisti lasciateli a casa... Prenotate, hanno pochi tavoli e come i saggi insegnano, il vino buono sta nella botte piccola. Torneremo, garantito. I am not a fish lover but I love to taste and I know how to recognize the quality of the raw materials. Do you want to eat really fresh fish, locally caught and cooked like at home? Without starred chefs, without too many frills and with absolutely Anti-radical-chic portions? Honorable mention for the fried food: simply exceptional. Thanks. Cholesterol, diabetes, diets and nutritionists leave them at home ... Book, they have few tables and as the wise men teach, the good wine is in the small barrel. We will be back, guaranteed.

Ritorniamo la seconda sera, ma purtroppo ci siamo sentiti presi in giro. Abbiamo ordinato dal pescato un'orata da cucinare ai ferri. Dopo circa 30 minuti di attesa ci vengono consegnati 2 piatti con 2 filetti (anche di dimensioni diverse) di pesce. Chiediamo spiegazioni alla cameriera, la quale ci dice che loro il pesce lo cucinano a filetti. Facciamo notare che non si tratta sicuramente della stessa orata da noi scelta e uno dei 2 piatti viene respinto, qualcosa dovevamo mangiare...... Ci siamo sentiti presi in giro anche perché nessuno, né la cameriera, tantomeno la titolare si è degnata di una scusa. Al momento del conto nessuno ha speso una parola e tantomeno abbiamo avuto una risposta al nostro saluto. Anche se siamo turisti, un po' di cultura del cibo l'abbiamo.... Che delusione!!!!! We had dinner for 2 consecutive nights. The first night everything was ok. Good food, welcoming staff. We return on the second evening, but unfortunately we felt cheated. We ordered a sea bream from the fish to cook on the grill. After about 30 minutes of waiting we are delivered 2 dishes with 2 fish fillets (also of different sizes). We ask the waitress for explanations, who tells us that they cook the fish in fillets. We point out that it is certainly not the same sea bream we chose and one of the 2 dishes is rejected, something we had to eat ... We also felt cheated because no one, not the waitress, let alone the owner, deigned to apologize. At the time of the bill, no one has spent a word and much less we have had an answer to our greeting. Even if we are tourists, we have a bit of food culture .... What a disappointment!!!!!

Una palafitta sul mare, atmosfera serena e incantevole con sottofondo musicale piacevole, cortesia e gentilezza del personale, infine cibo squisito e ben preparato. Ci siamo lasciati consigliare dalla cameriera e devo dire che la parmigiana era ottima come pure il polpo grigliato! Abbiamo diviso una pasta fresca con crema di patate cozze e polvere di pomodoro secco: una vera delizia! La ricciola alla griglia buonissima e cottura perfetta. Un'altra cameriera ci ha consigliato i dolci e si sentiva che erano artigianali, ottimi anche quelli. Il prezzo non economico, ma valeva la qualità. Unico neo sono state posate e bicchieri con macchie d'acqua ma che ci hanno prontamente cambiato (mi è dispiaciuto mortificare la cameriera)...solo per questo avrei dato 1 stella. Hanno compensato la gentilezza e le indicazioni su come trascorrere il giorno successivo la nostra ultima giornata in penisola sorrentina nonché la ricetta della parmigiana. Ottimi gli amari. After various experiences, even in the surrounding area, we were sad to find this place only on the last evening. A stilt house on the sea, a serene and enchanting atmosphere with pleasant background music, courtesy and kindness of the staff, finally exquisite and well prepared food. We let the waitress advise us and I must say that the parmigiana was excellent as well as the grilled octopus! We divided a fresh pasta with cream of potatoes, mussels and dried tomato powder: a real treat! Grilled amberjack delicious and perfectly cooked. Another waitress recommended the desserts and she felt that they were artisanal, even those excellent. Not cheap price, but it was worth the quality. The only drawback were cutlery and glasses with water stains but they promptly changed us (I was sorry to mortify the waitress) ... for this alone I would have given 1 star. They made up for the kindness and the indications on how to spend the next day our last day in the Sorrento peninsula as well as the recipe of the parmigiana. The amari are excellent.
