Paglia e Fieno

The place is located along Via Casilina, easily accessible by public transport but without parking. The cuisine is typically Roman, I tasted the pizza: dough not of excellent quality, not very thick but crunchy. Poor and bad quality dressing. Dessert: puff pastry with ice cream: disgusting, good looking but very low quality ingredients. Cannot give suggestions on the other dishes. High account for the area. € 2.50 of fixed service.

Non-stop pizza. With a small parking lot, this restaurant with its beautiful wood-burning oven, with its rustic furnishings in the two rooms, is one of simplicity and cleanliness. On Tuesday we ate pizza with no-stop formula (offer also valid on Thursday) which provides, for € 10 per person, a bruschetta - crunchy but with too cold tomato - soft drink, round pizzas already cut into wedges of various flavors until you he says "enough" (but you always have to eat them entirely) and ends with nutella and coffee focaccia. The choice of ingredients is exclusively from the pizza maker, but will alternate with a white base with mozzarella or margherita. We were more like a child - who ate an abundant portion of rigatoni cacio e pepe - and they came, one after the other, margherita, with aubergines and courgettes, with spicy salami, with sausage and mushrooms, with anchovies, with cacio e pepe, with radicchio, with wurstel, with ham, with mushrooms and, finally, precisely, focaccia spread with nutella. We had pasta with Moretti beer, water and coca cola. The very light and very thin dough and the variety satisfied 4 out of 5 people. Personally I found the minimum seasonings and a bit of monotony; I would have liked some more focaccia, perhaps thicker with bresaola and rocket, with buffalo and cherry tomatoes ... but certainly the expense (cash, no credit card) is worth the enterprise. The girl who served us was very polite and professional.

This is not the first time I have come, and we will definitely be going back soon ... low and very light pizza. The only flaw is that they make you wait a long time

All very good. Excellent pizza and fried food. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. I don't feel like giving 5 stars just because the service was a bit slow, perhaps because of the full place or perhaps because of a lack of coordination between the kitchen and the pizzeria.
