★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place. Brand new opened 20 days ago. Owned by two young and very cordial charming brothers who also work in Fashion. I had a lovely dish with wild mushrooms from a grotto and a super yummy Salmon with polenta dish after. The Wine the brothers suggested, was sublim! I predict this fabulous gem of a restaurant will be extreamly popular very soon! A added bonus is the underground Pre - Roman theater that was discoved underground beneath the restaurant, and that has been left open for a Visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to Osteria Storico 1886 in Vicenza two or three times per week since they re-opened, in early November 2020. The food is absolutely fantastic - every meal I have seems to become my new 'favorite.' The menu is creative, and the presentation is always artistic. There is a wide selection of traditional, especially local, Italian dishes, but there are also several choices that would qualify as American 'comfort food' such as fried chicken, a bbq hamburger, and even the best chicken Caesar salad I've ever tasted (I've gotten this twice already for take-out, after having had it once in the restaurant!). The service is impeccable and attentive, and the owner speaks fluent English. The menu is available in English, as well. I will return often, as there are new items on the menu every week, so I'm always finding something new and mouth-watering to try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you looking for delicious food in Vicenza this restaurant is hided gem. All perfect: taste, presentation of food, prices, wine, service. We really enjoyed our lunch time. Highly recommended. Take look at photos. 1886 You can feel history here. Visit in toilet is another experience, I will not reveal the surprise to You ;-)
