Cucina tipica rivisitata di alto profilo, ottime proposte sia di terra che di mare. Decisamente da provare. Migliorabile la scelta dei vini. Consigliatissimo! Characteristic and informal restaurant. Beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere, a lot of friendliness and courtesy. High-profile revisited typical cuisine, excellent proposals from both land and sea. Definitely to try. The choice of wines can be improved. Highly recommended!

Spaghetti veramente improponibili con pesto da supermercato. Acciughe fritte buone e fresche. Personale molto gentile. Cattivo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tavern with tables in a pretty square. Mediocre dishes and stingy of raw materials sold at a high price. Truly unrealistic spaghetti with supermarket pesto. Good and fresh fried anchovies. Very nice staff. Bad value for money.
A	Alberto Donato on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serata pessima. A fronte di una location invitante a tema medievale del palio dei rioni di Albenga, decidiamo di fermarci e provare la paella e le cozze proposte. Arrivati i piatti, comincia lo spettacolo imbarazzante del proprietario. Alla prima richiesta educata e gentile di avere qualche fetta di limone sulle cozze ci viene risposto che le cozze sono buone così e non c'é bisogno di limone (decide lei i gusti di tutti??). Aprendo le cozze, troviamo la vera brutta sorpresa della serata. Tutte le cozze avevano ancora attaccate le concrezioni, i filamenti tipici di colore marrone all'interno del guscio, segno inequivocabile di poca pulizia dei mitili. Facciamo notare il tutto al proprietario che ci dice che non é possibile lavare tutte le cozze e ci mima il gesto di pulirle con le mani e la bocca. A parte la maleducazione e la scortesia dimostrata verso il cliente, capisco la serata particolare del palio e quant'altro, ma sulle condizioni igieniche nella pulizia delle cozze non si scherza. Personalmente era la prima volta che venivo e non verró più sicuramente, peró spero che lei potrà ricavarne indicazioni future nel riproporre piatti migliori per queste serate e, soprattutto, le consiglio vivamente di rivedere l'approccio con i clienti che si é dimostrato deplorevole. Once the dishes have arrived, the awkward show of the owner begins. At the first polite and kind request to have a few slices of lemon on the mussels, we are told that the mussels are so good and there is no need for lemon (do you decide everyone's tastes ??). Opening the mussels, we find the real nasty surprise of the evening. All the mussels still had the concretions attached, the typical brown filaments inside the shell, an unequivocal sign of the mussels' lack of cleanliness. We point out everything to the owner who tells us that it is not possible to wash all the mussels and mimics the gesture of cleaning them with your hands and mouth. Apart from the rudeness and rudeness shown towards the customer, I understand the particular evening of the palio and so on, but there is no joke about the hygienic conditions in cleaning the mussels. Personally it was the first time I came and I will certainly not come again, but I hope that you will be able to obtain future indications in proposing better dishes for these evenings and, above all, I strongly advise you to review the approach with customers that has proved deplorable.

A conduzione famigliare, si trova nello splendido centro storico di Albenga, che conserva e mostra bene il tempo trascorso dall'accampamento romano al medioevo. Un po'scarso il servizio ma ottimo il contenuto. Ci siamo stati con la nostra compagnia di lettura #cosavuoichetilegga, per un aperitivo durante l'evento 'Leggevamo 4 libri al bar'. Dopo l'aperitivo, ho assaggiato un ottimo piatto di tagliolini alle ortiche con burrata e pomodorini. Applausi finali sotto la pioggerella settembrina A place for those not in a hurry, frequented by locals. Family-run, it is located in the beautiful historic center of Albenga, which preserves and shows well the time spent from the Roman camp to the Middle Ages. The service is a bit poor but the content is excellent. We were there with our reading company #cosavuoichetilegga, for an aperitif during the 'Leggiamo 4 libri al bar' event. Per quanto riguarda la preparazione dei piatti proposti nel menù, che va in base all'estro del momento dello chef e dalla materia prima del giorno, nulla da eccepire, piatti veramente gustosi e per i golosi.... il dolce da svenire... il conto più che onesto.
