★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived today in Rome and our host told us to visit Osteria La Massaia. The Dinner was amazing and really deliscious. The Boss took much time and prepared a fantastic meal. The Fish was fantastic, the Spaghetti was to be in Heaven and the dessert with housemake Tiramisu was soooooooo good. I will stay for one week and i will surely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite an unexpected experience at La Massaia. Nice atmosfere good wine list and quality extra virgin olive oils.
Very good ingredients both fish and meat.
If you are in the Eur zone where there is not much availability of good places to eat this is certainly a good choice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food and great service, a bit pricey but in our opinion it is worth it especially if you are a foreign visitor on vacation and you want to taste an authentic Italian cuisine. The owner himself was very helpful and friendly. I really recommend this lovely restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best food we had in a long time!!! 1) Excellent ingredients, all from selected Umbrian, campania and toscan producers, extremely fresh sea food, 2) very kind and attentive service - taking time to explain the origin of each dish/ingredient, asking for feedback on the food and experience 3) Very good wine from all over italy. 4) very nice and warm terrace /outdoor.
Overall an outstanding experience - we will come back and highly recommend!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars. I made a reservation here because of the positive online reviews and we were not disappointed. The owner was so gracious and kind. We do not speak Italian but he was able to converse well with us in English. He made us feel so welcome as did his staff. He made some excellent recommendations and the food was as good as the service. You could tell he genuinely loved what he does and felt passionate about the food they served

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My aunt and uncle took me here because it is one of their favorite local restaurants and I immediately understood why. The food is excellent but even more than that Gennaro and his staff make you feel like family. His suggestions are impeccable and his specials are.... Mmmmmm I cannot recommend this place more - avoid the tourist traps and go here for a taste of real Italian cooking with a large dose of friendly, warm, generous service. I went back 3 of 4 days I was there. Go! Try it! Enjoy! You will not be disappointed!
