★ ★ ★ ★ ★ tastiest meatballs and bombette I have eaten in Italy so far, it took quite some time for the food to get cooked, but it was worth it.
there was only one waiter and he had so much to do, I felt a little bit sorry for him. he spoke English very well, so you don't have to improvise and experiment with your Italian skills.
the homemade wine has a very refreshing taste, and is perfect in the hot summer.
the place itself is quite cosy, and even if it is really hot outside, it stays cool inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place just a bit outside of the historic center. Not need to stick to the osterias in the center. Walk a few 100s of meters more and enjoy great dishes for a good price. I would be fully satisfied if even the second of the two service guys was as smiley and less in bad mood as the first one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lunch there, service was friendly and food was good, a bit pricey (pictured are fusilli freschi ai frutti di mare, €13), perhaps because of the overall upscale-ish atmosphere. Alici marinate were plenty but small and soft, which is fine but not my favorite. Fusilli were very tasty, salty but right amount with a plenty of mussels; frittura mista was of modest size, served sizzling hot, I liked shrimps in it the most.
