La panoramica dal tetto dell’osservatorio è mozzafiato, anche se manca una piccola luce per capire dove dirigersi per salirci sù. Tre postazioni, volontari molto preparati che puntano quel che il cielo di volta in volta offre, compatibilmente anche con le condizioni meteo. Se si è fortunati si riesce a fare anche qualche foto con il proprio cellulare sfruttando i telescopi, come la foto della luna in allegato. Dopo l'iniziale osservazione del cielo ad occhio nudo, siamo passati all'osservazione guidata con telescopio. Ci hanno fatto vedere, tra i vari oggetti, Giove, Saturno con i suoi anelli, una nebulosa, una galassia, una stella doppia, una nana bianca. LUOGO Se avete il navigatore, basta scrivere osservatorio Fregona, altrimenti non è proprio facile da raggiungere. Si trova a quota 500m slm, lontano dai centri abitati, in mezzo al verde. Ci sono due strade che portano là, una che parte da Vittorio, molto stretta e ripida, l'altra che parte da Fregona, più comoda. GESTIONE Aperto al pubblico ogni venerdì sera, dalle 21. Ingresso gratuito e senza prenotazione, ma è gradita un'offerta, dato che vive anche su quella. Tre persone si sono alternate nella spiegazione, tutte e 3 molto appassionate alla materia. Le spiegazioni sono accurate ma comprensibili a tutti. La strada per arrivarci è stretta e tortuosa ma ne vale la pena. Aperto tutti i venerdì sera, se non piove.
