★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ortona ..belle ville vue à la mer , une promenade ( la prenade orientale ) superbe avec des restaurants gelateries ...un château Le Castelo Aragonesse, lieu de rdv. des jeunes et touristes , le centre ville est tres beau le côté historique avec ses petites ruelles, et ses maisons d'autre temps à visiter !
sans oublier la basilique de Saint Thomas l'apôtre....
Après, les restaurants innombrables et variés belle fourchette, qualité gustative , Pizzas superbes !! poissons etc etc , à visiter sans modération.
AH ! et tout celà sans souci, pouvoir se promener à n'importe quel moment, heure dans une ambiance conviviale et bon enfant, bravo !!!! ORTONA CHIETTI ??????

Ci siamo fermati x spezzare il viaggio fino in Puglia e ci è piaciuta davvero tanto: tranquilla, con una deliziosa passeggiata ed un bel castello da visitare. Spiagge attrezzate dopo il porto, ma anche una piccola libera sotto al castello, sulla sinistra del faro (dove siamo stati noi). Davvero consigliata una visita a questo borgo.
It was a wonderful discovery. We stopped to break up the journey to Puglia and we really enjoyed it: quiet, with a delightful walk and a beautiful castle to visit. Equipped beaches after the port, but also a small free one under the castle, on the left of the lighthouse (where we have been). A visit to this village is really recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malebné starobylé městečko a přístav na pobřeží Jadranu poblíž měst Lanciano a Pescara. Po roce 1860 to bylo jedno z prvních letovisek. Nad pobřežím je aragonský hrad Castello Aragonese, který je během dne volně přístupný. Postaven byl včetně městských hradeb v 15. století. Procházky historickým centrem a posezení v kavárně se jistě vyplatí i kdyby jen jako zastávka cestou kolem.
Picturesque ancient town and port on the Adriatic coast near the towns of Lanciano and Pescara. After 1860 it was one of the first resorts. Above the coast is the Aragonese castle Castello Aragonese, which is freely accessible during the day. It was built including the city walls in the 15th century. Walks through the historic center and sitting in the cafe is definitely worthwhile, even if only as a stop on the way around.
